They started realization of the program “Creation of the national system of issuance, registration and control of passport and visa papers of the new generation (I stage 2005)”. The company GazIntech formed a part of main executives of this system under methodic management of Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Scientific Research Institute “Voskhod”.

In addition to it big state enterprises and private firms such as: Federal State Unitary Enterprises “Scientific Technical Center “Atlas”, “Research and Production Organization “Rubin”, “Scientific Research Institute of Automated Equipment named after Academician Semenikhin”, “Gosznak”, firm “IBS” and others took part in this work execution.

At the 1 stage of the program the federal budget has apportioned 736 mln. Rubles up to this year.

The Decree of the Russian Federation President as of 19.10.2005 № 1222 put into force main documents identifying a citizen of the Russian Federation outside Russia and containing electronic information carriers (passports of the new generation). Passports of the new generation are planned to be issued in 2006.
